Student Council is a great fun way to learn leadership skills and bring more spirit for the school. Wondering what LHS’s student council have done for our school? tons of things! Those umbrellas in baskets before you walk outside. Those are for anyone to grab if you forgot your umbrella at home and need one for crossing the street to the mods in the rain! Also, we are in charge of anything with Spirit! such as spirit week,pep rallys and the school dances. Without our student council members all of those things wouldn’t be a success!
Election week was just last week, and campaigning week at LHS is definitely a fun week filled with everyones creative posters. You’d be lying if you said you didnt laugh while walking down the halls! It’s a great way to even show all your creative and imaginative skills to everyone at Lakewood so they’d know who exactly to vote for.
If you’re looking for something fun to do and want to be more apart of the action here at LHS, then join in on one of the Student Council meetings, and be apart of all the fun upcoming events for next year, and dont forget to do your part with showing off your spirit for LHS!
