Midterms

As everyone knows, midterms start January 20th through January 22nd. The Monday before, January 19th, and the Friday following January 23rd, are both days off of school. Each day has three testing periods and one open lunch period.

The test schedule is as follows:

Tuesday January 20th: 1st period, 4th period, open lunch, 7th period.

Wednesday January 21st: 2nd period, 5th period, open lunch, 8th period.

Thursday January 22nd: 3rd period, 6th period, open lunch, 9th period

All midterms are mandatory unless you have a self direct, study hall, or lunch during that period. All students are allowed to leave campus for open lunch and go get food. You can walk to restaurants such as Chipotle, Panera, and Jimmy Johns, or you can drive to different restaurant, or you can drive home, but you must be back on time to make your test. If you’re late to a test and a teacher has already closed their door, they can refuse to let you in, but that’s unlikely because you have more than enough time to make it back on time. Make sure to study and get a good nights sleep before your tests. Don’t put all your studying off until the last minute because then you’ll be stressed out the weekend before your tests.
