The theme to this years’ dance is great because you don’t have to limit yourself to the boring clothes in the stores at the mall. Now is the time to express your creativity and style! Finding the proper attire won’t be too hard, there are multiple thrift stores just in Lakewood. Value World on Detroit Avenue always has great stuff for a great price. If you are looking for something a little pricier, try Future No Future on Madison. They have great vintage pieces already hand-picked for you. Even though the theme is Frozen in Time, the music that will be played is all of today’s great hits.
If this sounds like a fun way to dress up with your friends, then buy your tickets ASAP. The dance will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014. The price of tickets is currently $15, but after February 11 the price will increase to $20. If ticket sales do not meet a satisfactory number, there will no longer be a winter dance at LHS. The winter dance is a great way to raise money for prom and it is the most influential fundraiser the senior class has.
