Today, the National Guard brought a race car to the parking lot right by the D building. Staff Sergeant Curt Meredith says,” Bringing the car is a different way to market us and show how cool we really are.”
The car will be here throughout the school day until 3:00 for everyone to enjoy! They are generously giving out free laniards when you go see the car. If you are seventeen years or older, and if you sign up, the National Guard soldiers will give you a free T-shirt and a lead card.
Along with the race car, the soldiers brought a trailer hooked up to a truck with their eye- catching logo and pictures.
Meredith said the car has been raced before a couple of years ago, how cool is that??
Along with the free laniards, they are taking FREE pictures of anyone who wants a shot with the car! You can then to to Facebook and download your picture.
