With Valentine’s day on the horizon, everyone is shuffling to get things together for their loved ones. Whether it may be a finding that perfect gift or planning a fun day with someone you care about, there are hundreds of ways to spend Valentine’s day and to show someone you care.
Lakewood High’s Key Club will be having their annual Valentine’s Day Carnation sale. Find a key club member or stop by Mrs. Gabriel’s room A302, and order that special someone(or even a friend) a carnation for just $1. Flowers will be sold from February 4-12th and will be delivered to students first period class Friday, February 13th.
Similarly, the Culinary Arts program will be hosting a Valentine’s Day bake sale. All freshmen and sophomores are encouraged to sign up now through February 9th to come down and learn more about the West Shore program and to bake and decorate a cake for your Valentine. Make sure you have a spot and sign up today!
We all know how hectic the holiday season can be but the organizations at Lakewood High School are here to help you through this time, so don’t hesitate to make someone’s day with a carnation or a baked good, all while supporting your school.
