Interested in volunteering? Need a fun way to earn some volunteer hours for college? If you answered yes to either of these questions, H2O is a fantastic program to join!
Mrs. Lange is in the H2O office in the L-Room lobby just about every day from 4th to 6th period. ” We have a couple of new sites this year. The Refugee Youth Soccer Program is an ongoing opportunity every week, I am excited to get things started,” Lange said.
The Refugee Youth Soccer Program begins on Sunday, September 15th from 11-12:30 p.m.
For the brainiacs out there, H2O needs tutors to help kids in all subjects. Training for the tutors is being held in Lecture Hall 2 from 3-4:30 on September 17th. If you are not able to make it, contact Mrs. Lange to arrange other plans.
Any bike fanatics? There’s an Ohio City Bike Co-Op going on Tuesday, September 24th from 3-6:00. Students who go will learn how to do safety checks, clean and grease chains, fill tires, prep bikes, etc. The awesome thing is the young kids who do not own bikes earn the bike they work on after the bike is completed. The program also sells bikes.
Along with these awesome programs, H2O is doing a grocery delivery at the Westerly Apartments on 14300 Detroit Road from 3:15- 5:00 on Friday, September 20th.
If any of these events interest you, drop by the H2O office and sign up for a program!
