After the address to the congress, citizens started to go out to say President Trump had fallen into the scope of being “presidential.” It was sensationalized all over the media that he had finally had that turn after weeks of him coming for organizations, news outlets, and individuals.

However, an early morning tweet storm from Trump’s “Winter White House” shed a different light on the recently appointed Commander in Chief.

Donald Trump went on to post several tweets slandering former President Obama. He went on to publicly claim that President Obama had wiretapped Trump Towers around the time of the election. Granted, he did this with no tangible evidence. He went on to call Obama “sick” and compared the supposed scandal as the next Watergate.

Mind one, the president has no authority to do that under any circumstance. Former Whitehouse adviser, Kevin Lewis, went public with the message that Obama or any White House official had “ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen.”

Following the accusation, the FBI director, James Comey, request that the Justice Department deny the claim the president made without any presented proof. Trump’s team goes on with no evidence and calling for investigation to be conducted and to get to the bottom of the “scandal.”

Many would expect such allegations to have a wisp of proof, especially coming from the man who is the leader of the country who at its origins believed “innocent until proven guilty.” But this is the situation this country will face for the next four years.
