The Dance Show ended and now we have another great show on the rise.
Tryouts for the annual Lakewood High School Talent Show were held this week on Monday at 3:30 in the Civic.
The Lakewood Dance show showed many dances choreographed by Lakewood students back on February 12th and 13th. Kera Moore and Leah Robertson, aeniors at Lakewood, when asked about her hopes for the talent show, replied, ” My dance is supposed to involve the seniors. It is a combination of four songs, and it will have a hip-hop group called ‘Lady Essence’ featured in it. The dance is supposed to be something for the seniors to do for their senior year.”
Besides dancing the students that tried out had talents that ranged from beautiful singing by Joshua Adnan accompanied by Zach Dudzick playing the guitar.
We will also be seeing freestyle rapping by Walter Johnson, and Brandon Cody.
We will be seeing Jimmy Toner playing the cello.
I personally cannot wait to see the Lip singing battle between Anwar Zahriyeh and John McDermott.
The Talent show will be in the Lakewood Civic Auditorium on March 18th and 19th at 7 pm. There will be a lot of fun and interesting acts done by Lakewood students. So watch out for ticket sales.
